I'm a writer, activist, and retired elementary educator living in Tkaronto, unceded territory. In addition to my journalistic efforts, I'm available for writing and editing projects.

Most recently my work has appeared in Today's Parent, ETFO Voice, Xtra Magazine and Living Toronto Journal. I've also been published in Our Times, The Progressive, Books in Canada, Writer's Digest, and Home & School magazines, as well as The Toronto Star and The Ottawa Citizen newspapers.

My journalistic interests include education, education policy, queer and trans youth, gay-straight alliances, comprehensive sexual health education and consent.
